Nice 'n' Easy House is, as the name suggests, a very relaxed spot in a shady garden overlooking Klong Kong beach. A new property, it is owned by central Thai people, who have brought some nice ideas to the design of the place. The resort is dominated by an interesting semi-circular building that houses the reception area and staff quarters, as well as a small library of books, pool table, bar and internet corner.

The bungalows themselves - of which there are only 9 - are arranged in a row behind, with lots of greenery. They are made from wood and are spotlessly clean. There are no mod cons in the bungalows at all - no fridge or TV - and that seems to suit the majority of the guests who come armed with books, magazines and iPods.

Inside the bedroom, which is fairly small, is only a double or 2 single beds, shelves and bedside table. Mosquito nets are provided and there is a choice of fan or a/c. Bathrooms are open-air (with no roofs) and cold water shower only. There is a western toilet and sink.

The family bungalow is somewhat larger, with the double and single bed nicely separated. The bathroom here is indoors and has a hot water shower; otherwise all rooms ameneties are the same as the other rooms.

A laundry service is available at reception; there is also a small swimming pool next to the beach. There are plenty of places to laze around - deckchairs etc are provided and there is a nice, peaceful atmosphere. The beach in front of the resort is swimmable only at high tide; at low tide the beach is quite rocky. Both sand and water are very clean.

Reservation Policy
Prices are given in Thai baht and are per room per night based on 2 sharing (deluxe rooms) or 3 sharing (family room). Prices include VAT and breakfast for all occupants. 1 extra bed is available in the family room only; this price includes breakfast for the 4th person.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations will be subject to a 10% charge. Cancellations made less than 1 week (May - October) or 2 weeks (November to April), or no shows, will be charged a further one night’s stay. No refund will be given for no-shows.
