Lanta Mermaid Boutique House is an alternative choice for your relaxation. You will be welcomed with the luxurious rooms, comparable to five stars hotels, yet having lower price, and impressive environments and surroundings. Here! The place where you will learn that "Heaven is really on earth."

This hotel has 4 floors, and was established since November 2006. It is on the street along Klong Dao Beach that has 3 kilometers long of white sand; and it is the downtown area where most hotels and resorts are located. It takes only 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel to the beach.

The hotel has 18 rooms: Deluxe Sea view 9 rooms (35 sqm), Superior Mountain View 9 rooms (27 sqm) which are decorated in Modern Oriental Style, in harmony with the natural surroundings of Koh Lanta. Moreover, all facilities are also provided in the rooms such as air-conditioner, refrigerator, safety box, wireless internet (Wi-fi), water heater, cable TV, personal garden and sun-bathing bed (camp bed) for guests who want to be away from the messiness on the beach, and Shower Sala for shower taking after coming back from the beach.

All rooms have the following facilities: air condition; hot & cold shower; refrigerator; cable TV; free ADSL wireless internet; safety deposit box; telephone; private Balcony with armchairs; coffee and tea maker set; wooden floors.

The Gallery Cuisine & Bar is the modern decorated restaurant with 30 seats.

Our comment: If you ignore the slightly over the top claim of finding "heaven on earth", this really is a nice place to stay if room comfort takes priority over proximity to the beach. While most hotels in Koh Lanta offer the draw of direct beach access and a restaurant and pool overlooking the sea, many have only basic, often run down bungalows. Guests at Lanta Mermaid do have to walk a couple of minutes to the beach - normal in most other beach destinations! - but benefit from stylish and comfortable accommodation on their return (for approximately the same price). In addition, in an area not known for its good service, the owner of Lanta Mermaid, Mr Somkrit (Chai), is an excellent host and goes out of his way to help guests. Note: there is no swimming pool at this hotel.

Reservation Policy
Prices are given in Thai baht and are per room per night, based on 2 people sharing. Prices include breakfast, service charge and VAT. A child of 0 - 12 years sharing a room with his or her parents is not obliged to take an extra bed but will be charged a 150 THB per night supplement for breakfast. Note: all rooms are non-smoking.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations will be subject to a 10% charge. In addition, any confirmed booking cancelled within 7 days of arrival date (15 days during peak season) will be charged one night's stay. No shows and early check out will be charged a 100% cancellation fee on the full reservation.
