Lanta Clean Beach Resort has upgraded its rooms drastically over the last couple of years and is now looking very nice indeed. Now more of a "flashpacker" resort than the old backpacker style, there is a lovely, cosy beach bar and restaurant area with lots of wooden pavilions, as well as an indoor dining room, with the bungalows themselves lying in a large coconut tree garden behind the road that divides the property.

This means that none of the bungalows have a direct sea view. The rooms come in pairs (semi-detached) or individual, detached units and all belong in the same category. They are light and airy, with a large picture window at the front, and are fairly spacious. They have been nicely decorated and have a wooden ceiling and tiled floors. They come with double or twin beds only. The bathroom is reasonably large with the standard hot water shower (no separation from rest of bathroom area). In-room facilities include air conditioning, TV and mini bar, hairdryer, coffee / tea maker and fridge.

The resort is located along the middle stretch of Klong Nin, near to the village centre, with its 7-Eleven and ATM. Around here is also a cluster of other resorts and bars, which makes for quite a lively nightlife. As most of the bars are situated on the beach, however, there is little chance of being disturbed by noise in the bungalows behind.

The beach itself is steeply sloping and sandy, often with large waves.

Resort facilities include the restaurant and beach bar, Thai massage service, tour agency, motorbike and jeep rental, laundry service, facility for overseas calls and an internet cafe.

NEW! for 2008 -9 season, there is now a swimming pool with children's area in the resort, plus the rooms have been divided into 2 categories: deluxe and superior. Facilities are identical, but the deluxe rooms are slightly larger and have a bigger balcony.

Reservation Policy
Prices are given in Thai baht and are per room per night. Prices include breakfast for 2 persons, service charge and VAT. No charge for children under 6 years of age sharing room with parents with no extra bed. Everyone else will be charged for an extra bed, 1 per person. The price of an extra bed includes daily breakfast.

Compulosry gala dinner charges for all guests in house on 24 and 31 Dec: 1300 baht per adult; 650 baht per child 6 - 12 years; children under 6 no charge.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations will be subject to a 10% charge. Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival in peak season and less than 7 days before arrival in high season will be subject to a further charge, at the discretion of the hotel.
