Our resort is situated in a peaceful location for relaxing, at the end of a long curved beach apporixmately 1.5km from Saladan pier. There is also one secret small private beach behind the hill. There are 52 rooms, all within one minute's walk of the beach and sea.

We are the only resort on Klong Dao beach with a coral reef in front of it, meaning you can snorkel directly from the beach.

All rooms are furnished with a king-size bed or 2 twin beds and have fan or air-conditioning:

Deluxe room: Beach Front with aircon, Satellite TV, Fridge, Hot Shower
Family room: Second row (garden view) with aircon, Satellite TV, Fridge, DVD player, Hot Shower, one double bed and two single beds (separate bedrooms).

Standard aircon room: Second and third row with aircon, Satellite TV, Fridge, Hot Shower. Fan rooms, same but without air con.

Our comment: Kaw Kwang Beach Resort calls itself "the first resort" in Koh Lanta, which we presume refers to its location at the island's top tip. This is perfect if you are seeking isolation (on an already quiet island); however if you plan to go out in the evenings, count on a 20 minute walk to go beyond the couple of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. It is right next to a rocky hillside, which means there is quite a bit of snorkeling and exploring to be done in the immediate area (though nothing spectacular); worth noting is that this same hill obscures the sunset visible almost everywhere else along this coast. There is a nice swimming pool, which is useful at low tide when the beach becomes unswimmable.

Reservation Policy
Prices are given in Thai baht and are per room per night, based on 2 persons sharing (2 adults and 2 children in the family rooms). Prices include American breakfast (ABF) for the number of occupants specified above, service charge and VAT. During May - October, breakfast is not included in the price for any standard or hotel view room, nor for extra beds in any room category.

Compulsory Gala Dinner:
All guests in-house on 31 Dec will be charged at 900 THB per person (child under 12 years half price)

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations will be subject to a 10% charge. In addition, any confirmed booking cancelled within 7 days of arrival date, or 15 days of arrival date during Dec 16 - Jan 15, will be charged one night's stay, or 50% of the booking value (Dec 16 - Jan 15). No shows and early check out will be charged a 100% cancellation fee on the full reservation.
