Down towards the southern end of Klong Dao beach, Andaman Lanta Resort is located on a fine stretch of white sand, gently sloping and perfect for families with small children. The distinctive blue-roofed buildings are arranged in a U-shape around a large pool and beach front restaurant area.

At the back of the resort (the front if you are entering from the main road) is the reception area and low rise hotel building that houses the main bulk of the rooms. These are laid out along a long corridor on two floors, with standard rooms on the upper floor facing the road and deluxe rooms on both ground and upper floors facing the pool and the sea (partially obscured by palm trees). Other than this there is no great difference between the two types of rooms - they are compact, clean and unremarkable, with the standard amenities of balcony, a/c, TV, minibar and hot water shower (not separated from the rest of the bathroom). The deluxe rooms have, in addition, a bamboo mat covered ceiling and a telephone. The hotel building has a small lounge area and a library of holiday reading matter. The upper floor is served by both stairs and a convenient ramp, useful if you have a pram or buggy.

Bungalows are laid out along both sides of the resort area and are more comfortable and spacious than the rooms. They come as detached or semi-detached (inter-connecting), with an outdoor terrace. In-room facilities are the same as the rooms, with some extra luxuries such as umbrellas and slippers. There is also a bathtub in the bathroom. Seaview bungalows are identical to the Deluxe bungalows, but are closer to the beach and pool.

The 2 semi-detached Andaman Suites are for those who really want to step out of their front door and onto the sand. Located in front of the pool, they have an unimpeded view of the sea and both a front and back terrace so you can watch the ocean as well as easily access the pool. They are slightly larger than the bungalows, with full-length picture windows and a daybed / sofa.

A comprehensive set of facilities is available at Andaman Lanta: swimming pool with children and jacuzzi sections; small children's play area; restaurant, bar, massage, tour service and internet. Staff are professional and eager to accommodate, which makes this one of Lanta's most popular resorts.

Reservation Policy
Prices are given in Thai Baht and are per room per night, based on 2 people sharing. Prices include American breakfast (ABF) for 2 people, service charge and VAT. The 3rd person or child 4-11 years sharing the room without an extra bed will be charged for breakfast at 160 baht / adult or 120 baht / child. Extra bed price includes ABF for 1 person. Normal check out time is 12.00. Late check out until 18.00 is subject to availability and will be charged at 50% charge of room rate.

Compulsory Gala Dinners:
All guests in-house 24 December and 31 December will be charged 1300 baht / adult and 700 baht /child on each day.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations will be subject to a 10% charge. In addition, if the cancellation is notified less than 15 days before arrival in high season, or less than 30 days before arrival in peak season, the resort will charge a further 50% of the total value of the booking. Early check out is strictly non-refundable.
